We Recently provided a complete overhaul of this formal garden pond for a customer in Bramhall in Stockport

We take pride in our work at Cheshire Ponds and we are happy with the work we have done in this beautiful garden in Bramhall Stockport.

The pond was previously constructed with a gravel type filter which had begun to breakdown allowing water to leak from the pond causing the customer a lot of issues, we were called and after a discussion ands a details quote we were accepted for the job and the work started shortly after.

Firstly we had to clear out many years of debris, remove the pipe work and carefully chip away the coping stones..

We then lined the internal area of the pond structure with sand to level off the ledges before the underlay was fitted..

Next we added the underlay which will prevent roots and sharp objects from causing damage to the fresh new liner..

We were then able to neatly fit the liner folding in such a way that it reduces the amount of creases visible when water is added..

The pond was then filled..

And then the coping stones re-laid and all other aspects of the job completed..
